Charles M. Raymond, President
Charles is the primary owner responsible for the overall management and strategic leadership of the company. He is also responsible for preconstruction services and business development in the North Texas region as well as corporate-wide marketing and client relations. Charles graduated from Southern Methodist University with a business degree in 1974 and after two years in the insurance industry, joined Raymond Construction on a full-time basis where he had worked previously in various summer and part-time jobs. Quickly Charles progressed to the role of General Manager and Estimator at which time his father was serving as the company’s president. Once Charles became President in 1986, the company has experienced phenomenal growth from $1 million to over $70 million in revenues.
David Schlimme, Principal/Senior Vice President
David is responsible for construction operations. David is in our Dallas office and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, oversight and support required to maximize the effectiveness and safety of our project delivery teams to insure technical quality and outstanding customer service. He also personally oversees our firm’s relationship with 24 Hour Fitness which is one of our largest clients. Prior to joining Raymond in 1999, David, who is a Professional Engineer, worked as a design engineer for several engineering firms. He completed graduate studies in civil engineering at The University of Kansas after completing a tour of duty as an officer in the Marine Corps.
Justin Deming, Principal/Central Texas Director
Justin is responsible for procurement of new projects and manager of project management team and field staff in the Austin office. He joined Raymond in March of 2015 after having spent 11 years working in commercial construction in the Austin market. Justin brought with him extensive experience working on state and higher education projects in addition to large scale tenant interiors projects. Justin graduated from Texas Tech University in 2004 with an engineering degree and has 3 kids.
Safety Credentials include the OSHA 30 Hour certification and the OSHA 510 certification.
LEED AP credentials obtained in 2009 – Building Design and Construction specialty.
